  1. Central Point Software MacTools® 3.0

  3. These files contain enhancements to MacTools® 3.0. Each application was backed up with Central Point Backup 3.0. These files cannot be used with CP Backup version 2.0.  Download the file(s) to a temporary folder.  When the download is complete, double-click the Central Point Backup file (the file you downloaded, not the Backup application). When the main Central Point Restore screen appears you will be presented with a dialog box asking you to Choose a Backup Set file, Ignore this request and click on Cancel. You will now see the Backup Restore screen and clicking to the left of the icon for HD will select the file for restore. You can then select your destination drive and click the Start Restore button to restore the file. The file will be restored to a folder called MacTools 3.0a(b). You can then replace your existing files with these newer files.

  7. CP Anti-Virus App and CP Anti-Virus

  9. CODE 1 and MBDF B signatures added (also added to Central Point DiskFix and Central Point  Backup).  Also, a few compatibility issues have been resolved in CP Anti-Virus control panel.

  12. CP FileFix
  13. =========
  14. FileFix now has the ability to change the invisible setting for folders as well as files.

  17. CP DiskFix and AutoCheck
  18. =======================
  19. DiskFix and AutoCheck will now only check for serious problems in the Desktop file.
  20. DiskFix and AutoCheck will no longer erroneously report Desktop problems when Mac Easy Open is installed.
  21. CODE 1 and MBDF B virus signatures have been added.
  22. Used with Build Disk Data DiskFix will no longer report out of memory errors.

  24. CP TrashBack
  25. ============
  26. TrashBack menu item now works properly with At Ease 2.0, QuicKeys 3.X and some communication programs.

  34. ===========
  35. A problem was fixed where it was possible for the Wipe Free Space command to not wipe the last few blocks on a disk.

  37. Each application was backed up separately to allow you to select only the files you need. There are a total of 8 files:
